The Dangote brand is fast emerging as a mega African brand as the group is set to complete the process of establishing a cement factory estimated at $400m in Zambia. Nigerian High Commissioner in Zambia, Mrs. Sifawu Momoh, who gave the indication, said the cement factory would be ready in February.

She said the establishment of the factory was part of the Federal Government’s strategies to strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and Zambia, adding that The High Commissioner was quoted in a statement by the TAC on Thursday as saying that when fully operational, the factory would give direct employment to many Zambian citizens and boost the economic ties between both countries.
