BABY FACTORY HAVEN DEMOLISHED

Uncompleted buildA five story building used as a baby factory in Aba was demolished less than a week ago by the Abia State Government; but this time another uncompleted building has been demolished at Umuobia Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area of the state as the Government said was being used as a baby factory.

During the demolition exercise, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security and Task Force Matters, Retired Captain Awa Udonsi Agwu, said that the state government had zero tolerance for crime. The Nigerian police command reported that the uncompleted building was being used as a baby factory. The Demolition is to serve as deterrent to others.

Captain Udonsi said, the police fingered one Mr. Uche Uhuabunwa and his wife in the illegal business, and promised to bring anyone caught in such an act to book. According to him, 18 pregnant young girls were rescued by the police during the demolition exercise.

He called on indigenes to give adequate information to the government on all types of crime in the state and commended Governor Orji on the level of courage he has shown in fighting crime in the state.
