The Lagos State government has announced the plans for both public and private schools’ resumption in the state after the lockdown of schools as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lagos State Government has launched a web portal specifically designed to allow prospective retirees and retired officers interact with the Lagos State Pension Commission on management of retirees’ entitlements regardless of their location anywhere in the world.

The Lagos State Government has said it has resolved the complaints of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in the state and  has asked its members to not embark on an indefinite ‘sit-at-home’ over alleged harassment and intimidation by security agents in the state.

The Lagos State government on Sunday said it is considering  full re-opening of its economy.

The Lagos State Government has proposed a fresh lockdown in the state due to the disregard for social distancing and other guidelines issued by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and health experts. To this effect, the state government put its proposed lockdown to a vote on social media.
