Huawei and Telecom Cambodia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 5G cooperation in Cambodia on Sunday.

Huawei Technologies said Britain’s decision to restrict the firm's access to some non-core parts 5G network in the country, was the kind of solution it was hoping for in New Zealand, where it has been blocked from 5G plans.

The United Kingdom has banned Huawei Technologies from all core parts of the 5G network and access to some non-core parts will be restricted.

Huawei Technologies said its first-quarter revenue hopped 39 percent to 179.7 billion yuan ($26.81 billion).
