Youths protesting against the brutality and extrajudicial killings by men of the now-disbanded Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday continued their protests at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has announced the disbandment of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force.

Nigerian singer Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown has taken to his social media accounts to announce he would lead protests against the incessant  brutality by men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in the country. 

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has banned the personnel of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad from routine patrols.

A video has emerged on social media, showing how two policemen on uniforms fought and maliciously tortured an innocent victim with guns.
