The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Monday admitted the final result declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Feb.23 general election as an exhibit. Dr Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, Counsel for the petitioners tendered the document before Justice Mohammed Garba-led five-man panel as part of his clients’ moves to prove allegations of election malpractice leveled against the conduct of the election.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has adopted Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for the positions of Deputy Senate President and Hon. Muhammed Idris Wase as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives for the ninth Assembly. The Peoples Democratic Party on Sunday said Facebook’s revelation detailing the manipulations and disinformation in the 2019 general elections allegedly by the All Progressives Congress had exposed them as a fraudulent and violent-loving party, whose divisive activities threatened the country’s security.

The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has affirmed Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as the winner of the 2108 Osun State Governorship Election and has therefore, nullified the judgment of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which had declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party winner of the September 2018 poll.
