New Dawn As “33” Export Lager Is Rebranded

33 beerAs part of moves to keep up with the trends in the brewing industry, Consolidated Breweries Plc have confirmed that it has rebranded one of its flagship brands, “33” Export Lager.

The company said in a statement on Thursday that the rebranding was targeted at unleashing the brand’s potential and strengthen its hold as the prime value for money segment leader, and as one of the fastest growing beer brands in the country.

According to the statement, the unveiling of the new packaging took place in Ibadan, recently week and is expected to see the brand undergo major transformation and introduction of a new slogan, ‘Taking Friendship to Next Level.’

The statement read in part, “The brand “33” Export is committed to being the beer of choice in its segment. Its commitment to be more relevant, distinctive and offer consumer a better choice and experience has given birth to a new bottle shape and new look.“With this initiative, we are confident that more consumers will become loyal fans of the brand that has been enjoyed for over three decades in the country. The price will remain unchanged while the new packaging is expected to be more approachable and appealing to a wider audience.”

Managing Director of the company, Mr. Boudewijn Haarsma, said that “33” Export’s strong market position and popularity had been achieved by maintaining a consistent and uncompromising approach to every aspect of the brand including quality, taste and competitive pricing.
