Notable insurance group, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has provided group accident cover for a group of finance Journalists under the auspices of the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria (FICAN). According to the firm, the group accident cover which is renewable yearly, took effect from January 1, 2014. The policy covers medical, permanent disability and death resulting from accident.
According to the company, list of beneficiary groups include the Airport Car Higher Association of Nigeria (ACHAN) which members were provided brand new cars for their business, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and market associations among others.
The Group Managing Director of the company, Mr. Akin Ogunbiyi assured that “for coming to insure with Mutual Benefits FICAN members are in for service, value creation, and quality relationship.”
