Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has invited three Golden Eaglets players to camp in preparation for next year’s Championship of African Nations. Dele Alampasu, Kelechi Ihenacho, and Taiwo Awoniyi were in the squad that just concluded the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

They have been shortlisted amongst the 30 players that have been called to camp to come prepare for the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will take place in South Africa.

Nigeria qualified for CHAN for the first time in three attempts and will be attempting to hold the Nation’s Cup and CHAN at the same time – no country has achieved that feat yet.

Nigeria will play host South Africa, Mali, and Mozambique in Group A at the tournament, the tournament is designed for players who play in the domestic leagues of their country starting on 11th January 2014.

All the 30 invited players are expected to report to the Bolton White Apartments in Abuja on Monday December 9.
