Honeywell Collaborates with Ekiti on Business Development

Honeywell Flour Mills Plc has collaborated with the Ekiti State government on entrepreneurship development to combat the increase of unemployment in the country.

 During the Honeywell sponsored second Trade Fair for Public Primary Schools in Ado Ekiti, Mr Lanre Da-Silva, the company’s Senior Brand Manager, said that the firm decided to partner with the government because the objective of the fair was in connection with the philosophy of Honeywell.

According to him, the firm believes in introducing the children to entrepreneurship so as to make them self-sufficient when they grow up.

honeywellMr. Da Silva urged parents to be conscious of their children talents, so that their talents can be nurtured to maturity, for them to have sustainable and prosperous future.

 He also said Honeywell was glad to work with the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board to boost early education in Ekiti.

“There is no human being without potential or natural endowment. You don’t have to be a professor before you become great in life. With minimal education and good skills, you can rise to any level,” he said.
