EDUCATION BRAND: NO, NOT ANOTHER POLYTECHNIC STRIKE

Chibuzor Asomugha, the National president of Academic Staff Union Of Polytechnics (ASUP), on Thursday directed the union members to commence on an indefinite strike starting from October 5th. The decision to embark on another strike just two months after calling off a two-month strike which lasted from April 29- July 17 was because the Federal Government has refused to address the union’s demand. He said the Federal Government has not fulfilled the agreement which they reached since 2009. When will this nightmare end?
