Eddie Fynn, veteran Radio Jock and Owner of Hygroove Online Radio has counseled Nigerian youths to take their destiny in their own hands if they want to excel in their chosen careers.

Eddie Fynn said in a statement to the media that “They (the Youth) should take their destinies in their own hands by being productive and focused. If opportunities arent there, they should create one.”

Breaking barriers to stardom amid challenges in music industry

He said the Hygroove Brand that has become a household name in Lagos was started with Seven Hundred Naira Only (N700).

“I sold cassette tapes on the streets of Lagos and grew from deejaying at House Parties to becoming a celebrated Radio Deejay and owner of Hygroove Inc – parent body for the Online Radio and Hygroove Connect,” Eddie Fynn said.

“In a situation where politicians are abdicating their responsibilities, the option left is to develop yourselves along the paths you want to ttread in life, become an authority in that space and make positive impact”

“After all the Protests, life will return to normal and only those that have something tangible to offer will benefit from the aftermath”, he added.

Eddie Fynn’s current engagements
“I m currently working tirelessly to move the online Radio to the terrestrial realm in a sort of backward integration. Come to think of it, the internet has brought the future to the present.

“In a matter of a few years from now, conventional Radio may be struggling if they dont harness the virtual space”

“I’m also working on a project tagged “NAIJA ARISE”. It’s targeted at Youth Empowerment using music as the dragnet.

The music industry needs to maximize its current potentials splashed on our faces by technology.

“So instead of wasting opportunities on the altar of excuses, complaints and criticisms, why not convert those energies to create and impact?” Eddie Fynn concluded.
