The list of the 2013 highest paid musicians in the world has been released by Forbes and Madonna reigns supreme. This year, Madonna tops the annual list of the top-earning musicians by a wide margin after raking in a whopping $12smillion for 2013, making her the highest-paid musician in the world. The major bulk of Madonna’s millions came from the tail end of her MDNA Tour, which grossed $305million. She also augments her income with her heady merchandise sales at concerts, as well as her Material Girl clothing line and Truth or Dare fragrance.

‘The Material Girl’ ranked ahead of Lady Gaga and veteran rockers Bovi Jovi as the highest-paid musician 2013.
