The aviation sector was dealt another major blow early this morning as an Associated Airline jet with seven crew and 20
passengers crashed shortly after takeoff at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The crash which took place near an airport fuel depot is reported to have claimed over eight lives with several feared injured. Some of the victims are believed to be family members and associates of the late former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Agagu, as the plane was also carrying the late politician’s body.
