Real Blow: Ronaldo To Miss Copa del Rey Final

Real Madrid CF v AFC Ajax - UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the Copa del Ray final next Wednesday without the current World Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo. Madrid have been known to appear toothless without the influential Portugal international and are now likely to face their arch domestic rival in the Clasico without their most lethal weapon.

Ronaldo limped off in the closing stages of his side’s 3-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg win over Borussia Dortmund and news emanating from Madrid has it that the 29-year-old has suffered an injury to his left hamstring, and is set to miss around two weeks of action which also include the first-leg of his side’s Champions League semi-final on April 22 or 23.
