Nigerian Army’s website hackedThe Nigerian Cyber Army, a group of local website hackers, has successfully hacked the Nigerian Army’s website, which is used for official recruitment.

The hackers defaced the recruitment website with messages warning the army about the group’s return and plans to attack more government websites.

Yes, your website got stamped by Nigerian lets (sic),” they posted on the site.

In a swift response, the Nigerian Army regained control over the website and deleted the hackers’ message.

The hacked website is one of the most visited sites in Nigeria as prospective army personnel visit the website to apply and enlist to join the army.
The group had earlier targeted the website of Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and that of the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).
