Nigeria Internet Registration Association To Hold General Assembly Tomorrow

BjfzkRxCQAAhDr9The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) will hold its general assembly tomorrow, according to Adebunmi Adeola Akinbo, the association’s acting secretary and chief operating officer (COO).

Lagos, with the association having already sent necessary notice to members and the general public about the general assembly as required by the association’s constitution.

The 6th AGM has been duly announced on the NIRA website, via the membership mailing list, some national dailies, and through social media,” he said.

The agenda for the 6th AGM include the receipt of the Annual Report, Financial Statement and Auditor’s Report for the year ended December 2013, as well as receipt of a Business Plan and Budget for the period of the current financial year beginning January 1, 2014, as well as consideration of other issues.

Expected at the assembly are registrars, stakeholder associations, representatives of agencies of government, corporate and individual members, members of the respective Boards of NIRA, life patrons, newsmen and prospective new members.

Participation at the 6th AGM is open to all members of Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), all members of the Association (individual and corporate members, alike) should ensure that they are in good financial standing with the association,” he said.
