NDE trains 50 graduates in Adamawa on entrepreneurship skills

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Adamawa, on Monday, commence Enterprises and Counselling Clinic (NDE-efcc) training for 50 unemployed graduates.

 

Speaking at the commencement of the five-day training, the Director-General of NDE, Malam Abubakar Fikpo, called on the participants to take the advantage of the programme and improve their skills for successful business.

 

Fikpo, who was represented by the NDE State Coordinator, Malam Ibrahim Faisal, said that the essence of the training was to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge on entrepreneurship development.

 

According to him, the training would also expose participants on how to obtain loans from NIRSAL and other financial institutions.

 

He added that series of lectures would be presented for the participants to understand all about the programme.

In her remarks, Mrs Na’amar Jona, Head of Department (HOD), Small Scale Enterprises (SSE), said that the aim of the programme was to train graduates and those who were in business but did not have any knowledge of entrepreneurship.

 

She called on the participants to actively participate in all sessions, to be skilful at the end of the training.

 

Mr Atsacha Biram, who spoke on behalf of the participants thanked the Federal Government for the gesture and assured of their readiness to learn.
