Wave-making Afrocentric and Hiplife musical group, Logistics Band, is set to treat fans and musical arts lovers to its highly anticipated “Me and My Arts” Concert and Album Launch.
It promises to be a special pot-pourri of high-octane entertainment at the event in Lagos, on Saturday, August 26 at Freedom Park, Broad Street.
Logistics Band also plans to officially launch its first album which is already receiving rave reviews from DeeJays and fans across the spectrum. The evening will also be spiced with laughs and jibes as notable comedians will be at the show to give it additional spice with rib-cracking jokes and a huge dose of humour.
Logistics Band is led by Adesoji Adetona as lead vocalist and percussionist. Adetona is a well-groomed and talented musician who featured as an active and valuable member of the award-winning Crown Troupe of Africa.
Logistics Band is also made up of talented instrumentalists and performers across the board. Adetona says the Band’s desire is “to change our community, Nigeria and the world at large with our tunes This reflects in our Motto (Aye koto oo, Ara e ni ko Yewo) which means the Truth is bitter, na u go check your ways.”
Adetona says this is an ideal time to officially unveil the band to the world and reach a broader audience. He says “Our style of music is called Afro and Hiplife melody.”
Logistics Band has performed in many concerts such as Felabration, Simpli Praise and many others, including covering grand events with great tunes to spectacular acclaim.
