HERITAGE BANK IN PARTNERSHIP BRANDING WITH IKOYI CLUB 1938

Heritage Bank is sponsoring the 2014 edition of the Ikoyi Club 1938 annual tennis grand slam competition. This is a partnership branding exercise that is in line with the commitment of the bank to corporate social responsibility ethos. To this end, Heritage Bank Limited has put its financial might behind the high-end Ikoyi club 1938 sports meet.

Speaking during the opening of the week-long competition in Lagos, the bank’s Chairman, Mr. Akinsola Akinfemiwa, who was represented by Executive Director, Ivory Banking, Mrs Mary Akpobome, said the Bank’s partnership with the tennis section of the club which was established in 1938 is aimed at enhancing the appeal of the Heritage

Bank brand.Akpobome stressed that the bank would be one year old on March 4, this year and it has done extremely well in the last ten months.“The market has received us. The customer base has improved tremendously. We have experienced good will and all our projections in the next five years have been achieved in the last one year. We are proving value that is reasonable.

Continuing, Akpobome said: “We are the only bank that does not charge Cost of Transfer and we are very strong in Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. You will be amazed with the level of partnership we have with the entrepreneurs, helping them on how to manage their businesses as we often organize SME clinics for them,” she added.Currently, she said, some people have six to seven accounts with the bank, “We are even telling others to come on board so that they can experience what others are enjoying.  We have 10 branches currently across the country and we are planning to come to list on the Nigerian Stock Exchange very soon”.

The Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Ifie Sekibo has said that the bank offers trans-generational significance as it helps customers to create, nurture and transfer wealth.
