Facebook has partnered with social content discovery firm to launch Face Book Newswire, providing real-time information to journalists by aggregating publicly shared content such as pictures, videos and comments posted by individuals at major events.
The social network said the service would make it easier for journalists and newsrooms to find, share and embed newsworthy content.

Facebook said journalists and media organisations have become an “integral part” of the social network, given features such as Trending Topics and recent improvements and changes to Pages and News Feed.
