Ex-president Obasanjo urges Buhari to shun bitterness

A former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has called on Nigeria’s president elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari to overlook any bitterness the campaigns and March 28 election may have caused, VON reports.

He made the call in a congratulatory letter to General Buhari following General Buhari’s victory in the March 28 presidential election.

He expressed confidence in General Buhari’s varied experiences to put Nigeria back on the lane of good governance, unity, cohesiveness, development and progress.

He advised the president elect to carefully select men and women of goodwill, character and virtue to join in his government in order to take Nigeria to greater heights.
