EURO GLOBAL’S AMPHORA WINES CELEBRATES COUPLES IN STYLE
Amphora, a brand of wines from the stables of Euro Global Foods and Distilleries Limited on Saturday, May 4, 2019 hosted three lucky couples who emerged winners in the second edition of its annual Amphora Wines Love Promo, with an amazing night of pizzazz, song, dance, dinners and a luxury accommodation for the night.
The winners who included Mrs Tolulope Oyebade Walters, Mr Albert Ude and Miss Ifunanya Pieta Chiegboka were welcome to the event by Mr. Adesoji Adetona, Activation Manager of Euro Global and Mr. Nnanke Harry Willie, CEO of HQSC Limited, the advertising consultants to Euro Global. The event, tagged ‘Amphora Love Jams Promo’, took place at CitiHeight Luxury Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos where the winners, together with their spouses were treated to a night of unbridled romance and pure bliss.
Winners were selected after they participated in the Amphora wines Facebook Page challenge held between February and March 2019. It was a three-step process. The first step was for the Amphora Page fans to give their understanding of ‘Unconditional Love’; the second step was for anyone who had taken the first step to take a close shot of their faces, striking a romantic/kissing pose with a glass of Amphora wine and state the variant of Amphora they are drinking.
The third step, came with two options- the first being that the fans should sing a favorite love song for 30 seconds and end with the statement ‘Amphora makes love Go Round’. The second option was for fans to write a short romantic poem expressing LOVE for his or her sweetheart and end it with ‘Amphora makes love Go Round’.
The promo produced 13 lucky winners. While 10 won recharge cards of N1,000 each, the star winners of the promo were Mrs Tolulope Oyebade Walters, Mr Albert Ude and Miss Ifunanya Pieta Chiegboka.
Expressing his excitement, Albert Ude, who attended the dinner with his wife, explained how he came across the promo advertisement and said the treat was one of the best he had come across: “Amphora wine is the best!” he exclaimed.
“I have loved this wine even before I came across the promo. I was on my Facebook page one day when I came across it and I told my wife I was going to participate. All I did was go into one of the many Shoprite outlets, grab an Amphora wine and took a picture with it.
“Now, here we are. I emerged a winner and I am so enjoying this night. From checking into one of the best Hotels in Lagos, to the live performance; where I have to sing my heart out to my lovely wife, and to the amazing dinner, this goes to show the class Amphora wine speaks,” he said.
Chiegboka, who also came with her Fiance Stanley said, “I’m so happy to be among the star winners of the Amphora wine promo and so far so good, I and Stanley have been enjoying ourselves. “I didn’t expect it to be this amazing.”
Tolulope Oyebade-Walters, who was in awe of the ‘perfect treat’, attended with her husband, stating that the reward for the promo, came at the right time and advised people to take promotions like the Amphora wine promo seriously. “I feel so on top of the world. I and my husband are so grateful to the makers of Amphora for this treat. I tell you, it is exactly what I need now- a treat.
“We see promos like this on our social media handles and just scroll like it is nothing, but I now know it is something. I will advise people to give room to do little things like reading through a promo and follow the instructions because the instructions are not stressful, to begin with.
“Amphora is indeed an excellent wine for romance and I will like to win this promo again next year, I tell you,” she concluded.
