The Professional Union of French Players (UNFP) who runs the awards announced yesterday that the former Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper who has kept clean sheets in 21 out of 35 matches for Lille is in the running alongside Olympique Marseille’s Steve Mandanda, Salvatore Sirigu of league leaders, Paris Saint Germain and Stephane Ruffier of Saint-Ettiene.

The winners of the various categories will be announced at a ceremony to hold on May 11, just a week before the French Championships winds up. Enyeama’s Lille is currently third on the log.
