Entrepreneur warns business owners against ill-gotten wealth

An Ilorin based Entrepreneur, Mr Remi Ogundipe has warned business owners against ill-gotten wealth through deceit and cheating.

Ogundipe cautioned entrepreneurs against derailing from the purpose of setting up a trade or service, which is to solve problems and meet the needs of consumers.

He said this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the sidelines of a Business Teaching Service organised by Christ Foundation Bible Church in Ilorin on Sunday.

The entrepreneur highlighted some of the challenges business owners faced to include maintaining quality customers; meeting customer needs; keeping employees and preserving good reputation.

“Every business, trade or service has a challenge, from the producer to the end user, but as entrepreneurs we must maintain highest level of integrity.

“Be truthful and sincere in your dealings, ensure you have all that your customers need. Do not deceive them, by so doing you lose them.

“Be friendly with your customers, attend to them with a good disposition and be diligent at your trade.

“At this point I want to appeal to our youths, some of them do not know the usefulness of the machine in their hands; their phones, the social media.

“We refer to the social media as the incomers platform, youths should make use of this to leverage on their financial independence.

“And above all, please put God first in everything you do, everything we have and will have is from God,” he said.
