Mr Edwin Igbiti, President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) on Wednesday pledged to build on the foundations laid by pioneer insurers to grow the industry.

Igbiti said this at the 2023 edition of the Insurance Industry Elders’ Forum organised by CIIN in Lagos.
He stated that achievements recorded in the insurance industry till-date was as a result of the contributions of elders in the industry.
“Today, as the institute refreshes its bond with you, our Industry elders, we assure you that we will continue to build on the foundations you have laid for us.
“The roles you played as pioneers in laying the solid foundations upon which the institute and the insurance industry took flight, remains evergreen in our hearts
“This is one of the major reasons why the elders forum remains one of the most important platforms through which the institute seeks to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of its founding fathers and mothers,” he said.
According to him, the forum is an avenue for the senior professionals to not only network but also participate in the institute’s activities.
