APC chieftain Attacked in Abeokuta

APC logoThe chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, in Ogun State, Chief  Kushimo Lukmon, was  attacked by unknown gunmen yesterday who broke into his house at Ita-Eko, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Lukmon said he escaped death and that a gang of six men invaded his residence at 5,Famuyiwa close, Surulere, Ita-Eko, Abeokuta, around 1:00am and threatened to kill him if he do not drop his ambition for Ogun State House of Assembly.

He added that he was hit on the head and arm with sharp objects which made him lost consciousness before he was rushed to the hospital. He said the assailants were wearing masks and came with dangerous weapons such as guns, rods, and acid.

Lukmon said that “the robbers did not steal anything but almost raped hi wife and threatened to kidnap his children while threatening tha “what I saw is a tip of an iceberg before they were chased by the vigilante group.”
