7,000 Schools Participate in Milo Basketball

A total of 7,000 secondary schools across Nigeria will feature in the 16th Nestle Milo competition, only Secondary School students will be participating in the  Basketball Championship which dunks off this month with preliminary games at the state level.
The champions from the 36 states and the FCT will then be grouped to compete in the four national conference. Both male and female will feature  in the competition so there will Two wins at the end across Nigeria.

The conferences are Atlantic in Asaba, Savannah in Kaduna, Central in Akure and Western in Ibadan.
“At each conference, the first placed teams in both male and female categories will go home with trophies and cash rewards. At the end of each conference, 12 teams will emerge for the grand finale of the event,” she said.
“There is a guarantee sum of N200,000 for every team participating in the national finals.”
