Mr Edem Darlington, the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Bassey Otu, has described the Think Cross River Campaign as a move to boost positive orientation and socio-economic development.
Darlington said at a press conference in Calabar that the campaign, recently introduced in the state, would be used to reorientate the residents.

It would be recalled that Otu kicked-started the Think Cross River Campaign on May 29 to preach peaceful coexistence, unity, and to promote support for government activities.
The governor’s aide said that the campaign was also an advocacy tool to promote the rich tourism and business potentials in the state.
He called on residents of the state to key into the campaign project in order to model their mindsets towards peace and sustainable development.
“Peace and mutual understanding are critical to the development of every society. This campaign targets to enthrone development through peaceful coexistence,” he said.
Darlington urged the people of Cross River to support the Otu-led administration by making inputs that would trigger productive policies.
“The current administration is open to productive ideas. Our people are free to approach the government with ideas that will enable it to serve them better,” he said.
